There was an error with the itch.io version, where if you ran the game on the desktop, it would not load because it tried to create a directory in a place that it wasn't allowed to. Now, the game is kept within several folders such that it can now run on desktop just fine. This is related to the Steam version with creating a directory for the Steam workshop.
